"No Time Limits Policy"
- There are no time limits on all tracking, editing, and mix sessions. Fees apply per song / per song package.
- Our clients are encouraged to use the 'No Time Limits Policy' to their advantage as the quality of the music project is our primary focus. We only wish to put our name to a project that sounds as best as it can.
- Sessions are booked in advance with our clients by the studio producer. The producer projects the initial amount of time/days that will be typically required to execute each stage of the recording project. If more time is required for the project, the producer will schedule more time/days with our client until the project is completed.
- The studio operates on a 'track approval system'. Each track is based in the 'No Time Limits Policy' this means our clients can perfect their track without any pressure, focus on the creative process, and record comfortably and accurately. Typically, we focus on one track until our client is satisfied and has approved it. Moving on to the next track before approval is not uncommon, but exclusively under the producer's approval.
- Once our client has approved a track, mix, or master, there will be an additional charge for any change to that track, mix, or master. (There may be exceptions based on the ease of 'quick fixes' and punch-ins and are exclusively under the producer's discretion.)
- Clients are expected to be punctual for each session. Cancellation of a booked session must be done seven days prior to that session or a rescheduling fee will be charged and must be paid before the next session commences. (There may be exceptions to this based on our clients circumstances and are exclusively under the producer's approval.) If a client fails to arrive within an hour of any scheduled session without notice, the client will be charged a rescheduling fee.
- Writing in the studio for the most part is counter-productive and not an efficient use of time. Please be well rehearsed. Improvisation and creativity is definitely encouraged, yet there is a distinct difference between these two. Having the songs blocked out with the effort to form a solid vision of the end product is very important. Coming in unprepared is not a beneficial use of either the clients or producers time.
- Ultimately, the 'No Time Limits Policy' is structured for our clients to optimize creativity, performance, satisfaction, and affordability. Our definition is to generate a mutually rewarding relationship between our clients and ourselves
